Joseph Martinez

Hello! I’m an incoming Information Studies PhD student at the University of Maryland. I’m a part of the CATS (Computational Analysis of Text and Society) lab.

My research interests broadly are in AI bias and NLP. I’m interested in finding hidden biases in AI systems and exploring ways to minimize their harm.
